WHEELING, IL – May 5, 2003 – Airgun Designs (AGD) is proud to announce the release of a new mainbody for the AGD family of paintball markers. This new all aluminum mainbody, part of the ‘UltraLight Engineering’ (ULE) series of parts from AGD, is compatible with the Automag, Minimag, RT Pro, and E-Mag markers. Initially, the ULE mainbody will be available in vertical feed only. Later this year, a Warp Feed™ version of the mainbody will be available.
The ULE mainbody, with an MSRP of $145, also changes some of the things that have been part of the AGD family of markers from the beginning. These exciting new changes are:
-
54%
Weight Savings – By moving to aluminum, we achieve an
astonishing 54% weight savings in comparison to the stainless
steel vertical feed mainbody.
-
A
Variety of Colors – ULE Mainbodies are available in black,
red, pewter, purple, and blue.
-
Threaded Vertical Feed Neck & Ball Detent– The ULE Mainbody’s vertical feed neck & ball detents are Angel™ threaded, allowing you to select from a wide variety of aftermarket accessories to personalize your AGD marker.
-
Threaded
Barrels – The ULE Mainbody utilizes one of the most popular
barrel interfaces in the industry, Autococker™ threading.
These
features, combined with Airgun Designs’ legendary reliability
and customer service, make the new ULE Mainbody a way to
personalize your AGD marker. Lightweight. Low profile.
Colorful. Beautiful. What more do you need in a mainbody?
The
ULE Mainbody is the creation of Airgun Designs, a company
that has brought many innovations to the paintball industry
since its founding in 1988. These innovations include
the Power Feed, Reactive Triggers, and the Warp Feed. Also,
compressed air and fiber wrapped tanks, a common sight
at paintball fields the World over, were first introduced
to the paintball industry by Airgun Designs back in 1991.
