BODY
|
|

|
|
The X-mag features a cut and carved body that is both
light and strong, providing great looks with serious functionality. The
lighter your equipment, the faster you can get to your bunker!
Whether you are left or right
handed; if you prefer vertical or offset feed; whether you want a
regular hopper or the low profile warp feed, a variety of modules are
available that slot straight into the body.

|
BATTERY
|
|
The X-mag features a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery. This more expensive type of battery
is being used due to its lack of “memory.” This means that
you may top-off the battery at any time without it developing a memory,
which reduces future useful power.
The X-mag battery provides approximately 18 volts when
fully charged. The X-mag will
function on as little as 14 volts. The battery should provide about
20,000 shots when fully charged.

GRIP FRAME
|
|
The grip frame
contains both the ACE Board and the PC Board. It also contains the
trigger, and associated magnets that allow for virtually infinite
sensitivity adjustment of the trigger.
Ensure that while you are in between
games, that you have the marker switched to safe. AGD recommends using a barrel bag as
this will help prevent accidental discharge of multiple paintballs if
the trigger is bumped.
|
|
ACE BOARD
|
|
The Anti Chop Eye
(ACE) board uses an infrared reflective sensor to determine if a ball
is fully loaded into the breech. Sensitivity can be adjusted to handle
multi colored paintballs.
|
|
PC BOARD
|
|
This is the brain of
the X-mag. The PC
board is programmed via the two push buttons on the rear of the grip
frame. The top button pages through the menu selections, and the lower
button allows you to change the selections. The LED display in the side
of the grip frame displays the options when the top menu button is
pressed and will display for 6 seconds before shutting off to conserve
battery life.
The PC board in
conjunction with the ACE board supplies all the logic to the marker. It
contains the timer and other programs that control how the marker fires.
If the battery dies and the marker is switched
to manual mode the logic board is by-passed. Note that things such as
the timer will not function in manual mode.

|
ELECTRONIC WIRING
|
|
Where ever you find
electronics, you will find wires. Wires lead from the ACE board to the
PC board to supply power and ACE logic to determine if a ball is
properly located in the breach. Wires from the PC board also lead to
the solenoid, and if installed, to the warp feed.

VALVE ASSEMBLY
|
|
The valve is the
heart of all AGD markers. The legendary Airgun Designs valve is still
quite simply the fastest firing module available on the market. Now
combined with the LVL 10 anti–chop bolt and the Anti Chop Eye
(ACE) you have the most aggressive marker available. The valve is
inserted into the marker and held in place with a field strip screw.
This means that if dirt, water or damaged paintballs jam in the marker,
it can be quickly removed, cleaned, and reinstalled.
